Apprenticeships are learning programmes designed for adults aged 16 and over. Apprenticeships carry full or partial funding for those aged up to 24 years. Apprentices train on-the-job, learning the specific skills that their employers most need in their workforce.
NVQs are work-based qualifications that recognise an individual's ability to carry out a particular job role to national standards. We offer NVQ programmes up to level 4 and can deliver the training in the workplace.

Train to Gain and Support to Train are funding initiatives from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC). They help businesses progress by delivering NVQ training to their staff, leading to level 2 qualifications. Employees can also improve their literacy, numeracy and essential skills if they wish. Support to Train is targeted specifically at businesses with less than 250 staff.
