Manual Handling and Lifting Operations

This course will help you understand:
- the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act in relation to your workplace
- your legal responsibilities and duties regarding work place safety
- your responsibilities as laid out in the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
- the importance of risk assessment and how to apply it.

- anyone whose job involves lifting.
What prior knowledge do you need?
- No particular knowledge is required for this course, although a basic awareness of health and safety issues will help you make the most of the day.
