Open Days

We will be holding open days on 27th, 28th, 29 and 30th of May from 10.00am until 4.00pm. Come along and speak to our trainers about the programmes we run and the opportunities that are available across the e2e and Apprenticeship programmes. We can offer information, advice and guidance on finding a career.

e2e

e2e is a development programme for 16–18 year olds who are not currently training or employed. The programme aims to develop the skills they need to find the right job and make the most of their potential. Each e2e programme combines advice and guidance, learning, qualifications and work placements in a package tailored to the individual learner's needs.

Advice and guidance

Young people leaving school are often unsure about what they want to do next. e2e provides a high level of support, advice and guidance. Learners can develop vocational skills and find out about the employment opportunities available to them.

Learning and qualifications

e2e learners work on basic and key skills, personal and social development and vocational skills. They can achieve IT qualifications, health and safety, First Aid certificates and NVQs. From here they can progress to Apprenticeships or Further Education.

Work placements

Most learners have very little or no work experience and may be confused about a future career path. e2e gives learners the opportunity to try out different types of work on short-term placements. This allows the learner to make an informed decision about the right career direction for them.

Keen to Learn

I'm keen to learn and get a job. Why should I learn with the e2e programme?

  • Try out different jobs on work placements.
  • Get good qualifications.
  • No travel cost worries – a weekly Metro card is yours FREE.
  • You might be able to claim a weekly EMA allowance.
  • Gain valuable work experience and learn how to be a valued employee.

Keen to Learn

I'm an employer. What's in e2e for me?

e2e learners are keen to acquire new skills and get a good job. By offering short-term work placements in a supportive environment, you will give a young person a great opportunity to progress. Many employers discover that their work placement trainees become valuable new staff. And if you do choose to employ your e2e learner, they can progress to an Apprenticeship qualification.

There are more great benefits for employers too.

Train your e2e learner to your company standards and expectations. NVQ/Apprenticeship training may attract full or partial funding. Literacy, numeracy, Health and Safety and First Aid training supplied free. Work placements help you identify who's right for your company. Staff motivation and loyalty are boosted. Experienced and supportive CMS staff support you through the programme.
